ServiceMaster Restoration Services was honored to spend Wednesday and Thursday with Hoarding expert and ServiceMaster Partner, Matt Paxton of Clutter Cleaner. Matt has appeared as a featured organizer on the nationally televised program “Hoarders”, which features homeowners whose mental disorder is marked by an obsessive need to collect things, even if the items are worthless, hazardous or unsanitary. He sought the national collaboration with ServiceMaster Restore when he recognized that he could not adequately service the growing need for hoarding and estate clean up work. On Wednesday Matt hosted a seminar in Atlanta for professional organizers, therapists, fellow hoarder experts and other professionals that may come in contact with hoarders in their positions. There was a group of about 30 people that came out to hear Matt speak.
Thursday, Matt came to our Columbus, Georgia ServiceMaster campus for employee training and to be a guest on the Dee Armstong Show on WLTZ 38. Matt, as well as our owner Steve Morgan, were interviewed by television personality Dee Armstong. She asked about the partnership between ServiceMaster and Matt’s business as well as gave us an opportunity to explain what else ServiceMaster does.
